The Leadership Train hits Kaduna, April 2011

There is no better time to talk about Leadership Development than around elections, and so we did as learning Impact NG facilitated a one-day leadership development programme for the Staff of Unity Bank Plc at their very impressive Falalu Bello Training Center in Kaduna. participants were engaged in learning exercises that helped to build a better understanding of Emotional Intelligence, and how to win with people. They used a simple model for discovering different personalities and analysing the communication preferences for each personality group. We also practised empathic listening skills, and some of the 25 Ways to WIN with people by John Maxwell. Learning Impact NG also had a debut of its new facilitator Dennis Odeigah, who joined the team in the previous week, and regular players - Abioye Oke and Gbitse Barrow were on hand to facilitate the unique experience for the ladies and genlemen in lemon green (unity bank colours). John Maxwell Leadership Train Hits Benin City

The Ancient City of Benin, capital of Edo State played host to the John Maxwell Training from Learning Impact NG. The middle managers of the South South Region of Unity Bank Plc were the participants at the one-day workshop, which was very well organized by the Training Department of Unity bank in Benin.

As usual, participants had a lot to learn and reflect upon, especially regarding their ability to engage with their subordinates and cultivate effective working relationships.

The faculty of Learning Impact NG included Messrs Abioye Oke and Gbitse Barrow, and as usual our Gallery camera crew were on hand to capture the exciting moments. The train's next stop is at Kaduna in mid-April. See you then














Stanbic IBTC Sales Academy - 2011

The Lagos and South West Sales Team of Nigeria's leading and largest pension fund administrator  - Stanbic IBTC Pensions, Nigeria's leading fund manager - Stanbic IBTC Asset Managerment, and the Liberty Blue HMO Sales Team spend three eventful and learning filled days at the Lagos Resource Center, at the Annual Sales Academy Training Programme facilitated by Learning Impact NG.

The participants got an opportunity to improve by selling skills as they went through modules on Attitude, Lead Generation, Proposal Writing, Negotiations and Sales Presentations. The Academy was anchored by the Learning Impact NG duo of Nike Oni and Gbitse barrow, with a special guest appearance by Tsola Barrow with his motivational presentation on the 9 Habits of Highly Effective Sales people.

As usual, there was lots of powerful story telling, role plays, structured activities, brainstorming, videos reflections and action planning to ensure that the participants learned in the most dynamic way possible.
The climax of the event featured the CEO of Stanbic IBTC Asset management - Olumide Oyetan leading two other Top Management Staff - Nike Bajomo and Bablola Obilana to chair roundtable sessions that helped participants reflect again on their learnings and integrate it with the expectations of their leaders.
