STANBIC – Business Writing Clinic – 16 – 17 July 2013 Lagos

Learning Impact NG had a Business Writing Workshop on the 16th – 17th of July 2013 for staff of Stanbic IBTC Pension and Asset Management in Lagos. Gbitse Barrow who facilitated the training gave the participants tips for a successful communication to be:  reading, listening, thinking & planning, using appropriate languages, obtaining feedback and many others. 

The workshop contents were on four Modules which covered the following areas: Introduction to Business Communication; Use of English; Rules for Writing and Letter Writing.

AMCON – Effective Business Writing – 22 – 23 August 2013 Lagos

On 22 – 23 August Learning Impact NG had a workshop for staff of Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria; AMCON in Lagos. The training was facilitated by Gbitse Barrow. 

The workshop contents were on five modules which are: The Overview of Communication & Writing; Report Writing; Improving your Strategic Writing Skills; Improving your Creative Writing Skills; Improving your Administrative Writing.

RIFENG – Professional Selling Workshop – 17 August 2013 Abuja

Learning Impact NG facilitated a 1 Day Professional Selling Workshop for staff of  RIFENG Piping System on 17 August 2013 at the Be Better Center Abuja. The sales professionals were exposed to contents on: The Overview of Effective Selling; Developing Sales Knowledge & A Sales Mindset and Consultative Selling.

The facilitators; Nike Oni and Opeyemi Abe laid emphasis on the need to embark on making compelling offers as sales representatives and the need to align with their customers considering; proper timing, using the advocacy model, appropriate language and a collaborative approach.

NDIC – Mentoring and Counseling – 30 July 2013 Abuja

Learning Impact NG facilitated a Mentoring and Counseling Workshop for staff of Nigerian Deposit Insurance Company (NDIC) on 30 July 2013. One of the key learning is on the analogy of the “Tour Guide and the Traveling Agent” and how to apply it to the behaviors and attitude of a mentoring leader.

Gbitse Barrow who facilitated the workshop exposed participants on the following content areas; The Overview of Human Performance Improvement; Mentoring & Counseling Overview; and Mentoring & Counseling in Action.
