NDIC – Mentoring and Counselling – 29 July 2013 Abuja

The Mentoring and Counseling Workshop for staff of Nigerian Deposit Insurance Company (NDIC) held on the 29^th of July in Abuja. The Workshop contents covered: The Overview of Human Performance Improvement; Mentoring & Counseling Overview; and Mentoring & Counseling in Action. Participants were able to discuss on some of the realities and challenges of workplace counseling; and brainstorm together as they enumerated action plans regarding managing the millennial generation within the workforce of NDIC. The workshop was facilitated by Gbitse Barrow of Learning Impact NG.

CONSOLIDATED BREWERIES PLC – Mentoring Skills – 25 – 26 2013 June Lagos

The 2 Day Mentoring Skills Workshop for staff of Consolidated Breweries Limited was facilitated by Gbitse Barrow of Learning Impact NG on 25 – 26 June 2013 in Lagos. 
Participants were made to identify and discuss the various mentoring roles that they play in the organization and also to develop skills in teaching the people they mentor by applying a simple framework for providing guidance to their mentees.

Mentoring Overview; Mentoring Roles & Tools; and Mentoring Competencies in Practice were the workshop contents.

NISL – Improving Personal Effectiveness 20 July 2013 Lagos

Gbitse Barrow of Learning Impact NG facilitated a 1 Day Workshop on Improving Personal Effectiveness for staff of Nigeria International Securities Limited on the 20^th of July 2013 in Lagos. Amongst the workshop activities; participants were able to discuss on the importance of attitude to success and identify action plans to improve their attitude and effectiveness in the organization.

They were exposed to content in the following areas: An Overview of Personal Effectiveness and Success; The Mindset of Personal Effectiveness; Emotional Intelligence; Managing Energy and Time for Results.

STANBIC IBTC – Coaching and Mentoring 19 July 2013 Lagos

On 19 July 2013; Learning Impact facilitated a Coaching and Mentoring Workshop for staff of Stanbic IBTC Pensions and Asset Management Lagos. The facilitator Gbitse Barrow helped the participants in discovering the three distinct mentoring roles that they play as leaders and how to apply simple tools to these roles.

The contents of the workshop were in the following areas: Coaching and Mentoring Overview; Coaching Skills in Practice; Mentor-ship Roles and Skills.
